Global Building Controls wanted to give their customers something valuable: the ability to monitor and manage their building management systems remotely, from anywhere. The technology existed. They needed the right partner to build it properly.
They came to SpiderGroup to make sense of what Azure could do for them and to build a platform they could grow into.
GBC had a clear vision but no established cloud infrastructure to deliver it. They needed a solution that would let their customers access building management systems securely from remote locations, while keeping costs predictable and the platform ready to scale as their customer base grew.
We built a cloud platform in Azure sized for where GBC was, with clear visibility on costs from day one. The architecture was designed to scale cleanly as new customers were added, with the option to spin up additional virtual machines in different global regions when needed. GBC could see exactly what they were getting and what it would cost before we started.
